Terms of service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and AdsOnBread governing your use of the AdsOnBread website, portals, SDK, and ad network (together, the “Service”). By applying for an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
AdsOnBread is an advertising network for browser extensions. Developers integrate our SDK into approved extensions to display ads, and advertisers fund campaigns that are delivered into those placements at a published cost per thousand impressions (CPM). Participation is reviewed: developers, extensions, and campaigns each require approval before live delivery, and we may approve or decline applications at our discretion.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when applying and keep it up to date.
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you act for a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
- One person or entity may not hold multiple accounts to evade review, limits, or suspension.
3. Developer terms
- You may only integrate the SDK into extensions you own or are authorized to monetize, and only into extensions we have approved.
- Your extension must display only one ad at a time on any given page or surface. You may show ads on multiple extension surfaces (for example a popup, sidebar, options page, or new-tab page), but no single page may show more than one AdsOnBread ad at once.
- Place each ad where a user can reasonably see it during normal use of the approved extension surface. Do not hide an ad below content that users rarely scroll to, inside collapsed or obscured UI, off-screen, behind other elements, or in a background or inactive view solely to create impressions. Existing approved placements must meet this requirement by October 22, 2026; new placements must meet it before launch.
- Do not intentionally generate impressions for hidden placements. Use the current AdsOnBread SDK and do not alter, spoof, suppress, or replay any visibility measurement it provides. We may review a placement using visibility data, traffic patterns, screenshots, and a live walkthrough, and may require changes, pause delivery, or exclude invalid impressions after review. A low click-through rate alone does not establish a violation.
- Beginning with SDK 1.2.0, a delivered ad becomes a counted impression only after more than 70% of its surface remains visible in the active view for at least one continuous second. Views that do not meet this threshold do not create developer earnings. Install SDK 1.2.0 or later in every approved extension by October 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Starting October 23, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time, older SDK versions will not receive ads.
- Ads may be displayed inside a third-party webpage if and only if your extension already injects its own user interface into that webpage, and the ad is rendered within that injected extension UI. You must not inject ads into webpages where your extension does not otherwise present its own UI, and ads must never obscure, replace, or interfere with the webpage’s own content or ads.
- You must comply with the policies of the browser stores where your extension is distributed, and disclose ad-supported functionality to your users as those policies require.
- You must not integrate the SDK into an extension or service directed primarily to children under 13, or a higher minimum age required by local law.
- You must not generate artificial impressions or clicks, encourage users to click ads, modify ad rendering to mislead users, or otherwise create invalid traffic. We reserve the right to determine any traffic as fraud at our sole discretion. Earnings from invalid traffic may be withheld or reversed.
- Earnings accrue at the published revenue share. A month’s earnings become eligible on the 10th of the following month. The payout minimum is $25 in eligible earnings; lower balances carry over. You must request a payout from the developer portal and select a saved method for the monthly payout cycle on the 10th. We reserve the right to delay payment of funds for up to 30 additional days to investigate fraud. You are responsible for any taxes on your earnings.
- We may update the SDK and require that integrations stay reasonably current.
- We reserve the right to ban or suspend your account at any time for any reason with no explanation required.
Developer payout methods and records
- Complete and save your residence address in your Payout profile before adding a payment method or requesting a new payout. ACH and PayPal are available only to US residents. Having a US bank account does not establish US residence. Residents outside the US must use Talentir. Requests submitted before this policy took effect keep their recorded destination.
- ACH transfer — our preferred method for US bank accounts. You may use a business or personal checking or savings account. Save the account holder name, account type, nine-digit ABA routing number, account number, and payout email in the portal. Bank details are encrypted before storage. This direct ACH option is for US bank accounts only.
- PayPal — save the email address associated with the PayPal account that should receive the payout, then select that saved method when requesting payment.
- Talentir — a third-party payout platform for creators, freelancers, and businesses. Save an email you can access. When a payout is sent through Talentir, follow its claim link, sign in, complete any required onboarding and identity or tax verification, and provide your payment details directly to Talentir. Available choices can include international bank transfers, crypto, and Venmo. The methods, currencies, crypto assets and networks offered depend on your location and Talentir's availability. Talentir's recipient terms and privacy policy govern its onboarding and payment services, including any recipient fees. Crypto is optional.
- Keep your payout information accurate and accessible. You can save multiple methods and choose one for each request. Removing or changing a saved method does not change the destination already recorded on an existing payout request. Submit US bank details through the portal and Talentir recipient details through Talentir; do not send bank account or wallet details to us by email.
- Provider processing and recipient verification can affect when funds arrive. No method is guaranteed to be instant, and Talentir’s available methods, fees, currencies, and conversion details should be reviewed before claiming a payout.
- For payouts covered by Talentir’s merchant-of-record arrangement, Talentir handles recipient onboarding and payout-related tax documentation and withholding requirements. This does not guarantee tax exemption or support in every country. You remain responsible for your own applicable tax reporting and payment obligations.
- A Payout Statement becomes available to view or download in the developer dashboard after we publish it for a completed payout. It summarizes the paid earnings by month and may include a supporting bank or payment-provider receipt. A paid payout may show Statement pending until publication. Publishing or replacing a document does not initiate another payment.

4. Advertiser terms
- Campaigns run at the published CPM and within the budgets you set. The $2 CPM launch rate applies to impressions delivered through at least December 31, 2026. Future rates will be published on our pricing page, with changes subject to the advance notice described in Section 11. Funding is added through Stripe, and your available balance reflects confirmed payments and credits minus spend and reserved budget.
- All creatives are reviewed before delivery. Ads must be accurate, must match the landing page, must use an HTTPS landing URL, and must not promote illegal products, adult content, gambling or betting, dating, alcohol, political ads, religious advertising, weapons, explosives, recreational drugs, tobacco, vaping products, or anything that misleads users.
- Ads must not contain or promote malware, spyware, hacking tools, phishing, scams, counterfeit goods, fraudulent products, hate or harassment, extremist or terrorist content, graphic violence, gore, torture, sexual violence, dangerous stunts, or misleading medical, health, or financial claims.
- Ads are approved solely at our discretion. We may reject, pause, or remove any ad or campaign for any reason, including reasons not listed in the ad content policy.
- Impression counts measured by our delivery infrastructure are the basis for billing. For extensions using SDK 1.2.0 or later, we count an impression only after the SDK confirms that more than 70% of the ad surface was visible in the active view for at least one continuous second. The upgraded SDK is required for all extensions starting October 23, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Mountain Daylight Time. We filter invalid traffic and do not charge for impressions we identify as invalid.
- Unspent balances are not guaranteed to be cash redeemable. Once credits are purchased, there is no guarantee of refund. Refunds of unspent balances are handled at our sole discretion on request through support.
- You are responsible for your landing pages, your products, and your compliance with advertising and consumer-protection laws in the markets you target.
5. Prohibited conduct
For everyone using the Service, you must not:
- Interfere with, probe, or disrupt the Service, or access it by automated means except through the documented SDK and APIs.
- Misrepresent who you are, your extension, your product, or your traffic.
- Use the Service to distribute malware, spyware, or any code that harms users.
- Attempt to deanonymize, profile, or track extension users through or alongside our ad placements.
- Reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of the creatives, logos, and other content you submit, and you grant AdsOnBread a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, format, and display that content for the purpose of operating the Service, including showing approved ads in developer extensions and previews in our portals. You confirm you have the rights to everything you submit. The Service itself — including the SDK, site, and branding — belongs to AdsOnBread, and we grant developers a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the SDK in approved extensions while these Terms apply.
7. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts, extensions, or campaigns that violate these Terms, create risk for users or the marketplace, or are required to be stopped by law. On termination, earned and valid developer balances above the payout minimum are paid out in the normal cycle, and unspent valid advertiser funds are refunded, except where amounts are tied to fraud or invalid traffic.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted delivery, any particular fill rate, impression volume, earnings level, or campaign performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AdsOnBread will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars ($100) or the amounts you paid to us, or we owed you in earnings, during the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold AdsOnBread harmless from claims arising out of your content, your extension or product, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
11. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change the Service, pricing, revenue share, and these Terms. For pricing changes and other material changes we will give account holders reasonable advance notice through the portal or by email; continued use after the change takes effect means you accept it. Pricing changes will honor the launch-rate period stated above and do not apply retroactively to impressions already delivered.
12. General
These Terms, together with the privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and AdsOnBread about the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
